John Street Car Park is directly behind the flat and the most convenient place to park on your arrival. Park on the far right side next to a florist called “Little Rose”.
Parking is usually free between 12:00 – 15:00 / 18:00 – 08:00 – please always check and confirm.
For ease, download the “PayByPhone” Parking app. The location code is 84122 and it will text you to remind you when to top up again.
You can also pay with cash at the parking meter for slightly cheaper.
Once you are out of the car, put ‘Halifax’ walking directions on your map as this is the easiest way to the front door. It is less than 1 minute walk. 34A Communal door entrance is right next to Halifax.
Property Access
Your unique lockbox code will be sent on the day of arrival, checkin is any time after 4pm.
When you arrive at the front door you will see a black LOCKBOX on the LEFT hand side of the front door for Flat 2 (2 bed), or a WHITE lockbox on the RIGHT hand side of the door for flat 1 (3 bed).
Once you have entered the code just turn the handle and it will pop open. If you make a mistake pull the middle tab down to clear and then start again.
Flat 2 (2 Bed) is the first flat at the top of the stairs with a WHITE door. Flat 1 (3 bed) is the BLUE door at the top of the stairs.
Heating
In Flat 2 (2 bed) you will find the heating in the kitchen above the fridge. See the video below of how to change the temperature! In Flat 1 (3 bed) the heating is in the kitchen by the clock.
The flat does heat up quickly! Please do turn the heating down to a low setting when you are not in the flat.
Smoking
At our properties, we prioritise the comfort and safety of all our guests. That’s why we have a strict no smoking policy in both our flats and communal areas. We have installed highly sensitive smoke alarms that are connected to other flats and commercial buildings nearby, ensuring the utmost safety for everyone.
To maintain the integrity of our non-smoking policy, we kindly request that guests refrain from bringing any tobacco or smoking paraphernalia onto the property. Any violation of this policy will result in a minimum charge of £150 to cover the costs of cleaning and airing out the affected space.
We appreciate your cooperation in creating a smoke-free environment for all our guests. Thank you for helping us maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety at our properties.

Local bin day is every other Thursday. Please leave any bin bags in the blue wheelie bin which is located in the communal hall.
